Money will likely go to crisis pregnancy centers.
Any chance we could get it to go instead to places that provide actual legitimate medical care? What about Choose Life plates supporting mental health care for children in the foster care system? That seems like something people rallying for life, for the children, could get behind, right?
Would Planned Parenthood be able to use it for the prenatal care they offer at some clinics? Because that’s for people who are choosing life.
How about letting Level I Trauma Centers around the state apply for those funds to reimburse them for indigent care? Because Level I trauma care is absolutely about choosing life, about fighting for it with every tool we’ve got, in fact.
No, we’ll just give it to pseudo-clinics where non-medical professionals dress up in white coats and tell people lies that contradict actual scientific truth. Because that’s what Red Texas does.
